Made from post-consumer polypropylene, its smooth, durable surface is easy to clean - ready for everyday life.

Choose between two bases with different functions: tilt or turn. With its curved base, Social® Tilt lets you gently lean forward for added focus or lean back to relax and reflect. Social® Turn, with its 360-degree swivel base and four legs, allows you to move intuitively and interact comfortably, whether around the table or shifting between tasks.
Customize to your wants
Designed to be highly customizable, so you can make it your own. Choose from six distinct colors and add comfort with seat cushions or a soft jacket for extra coziness.
Made in Italy from post-consumer recycled polypropylene, Social® is crafted using European household waste, discarded plastic film, and other materials. Assembled without glue, it can be easily disassembled for future recycling. Independent Environmental Product Declarations confirm that Social® has a smaller environmental footprint compared to similar chairs.

The multi-functional shell chair is ideal when working or carrying out other focus-related activities at the dining table. Social® Tilt is UV-resistant and can even be used outdoors.

Snøhetta is a transdisciplinary, dialog-driven architecture and design practice. The studio’s adaptable approach to design and sensitivity toward context has resulted in global reach and critical acclaim. The Social® project started with a diverse team from Snøhetta researching the dynamics of future homes and exploring their needs for increased flexibility. Complementing these insights with our expertise in ergonomics and Social® began to take form.
