Hi Claudia! Please, tell us a little bit about yourself!

I’m Claudi, 33 years old and I live in Berlin. I’m a freelance photographer and interior stylist, and I run a blog where I share my work and ongoing projects. I started the blog as a creative output during a hectic period while I was moving in with my boyfriend and amid a demanding exam period at the Humbolt University in Berlin. Initially, I started sharing tips on how to decorate an apartment on a student budget, and never once did I anticipate that I would ever make a living from it. I feel very lucky that everything worked out so well, and I couldn’t be happier about having a job that I really love.

What are your workspace essentials?

My workspace consists of three main elements; a vintage desk, a neutral carpet and my Move chair. I love to surround myself with plants and decorative items I’ve acquired at flea markets around the city. My cat, Tiger, is my favorite home office companion, having her around makes my day, and I actually think some of my readers follow me just because of her!

How do you choose pieces to surround yourself with?

I’m often drawn to pieces that tell a story of their own. That’s why I love vintage furniture so much, each piece has a unique history, making the objects so much more personal. I have a soft spot for furniture from the 60s and 70s in neutral colors and natural materials.

What do you like most about Move?

Many ergonomic chairs are hard to incorporate into a carefully developed interior, but my Move chair can stand alone as its own interior piece without looking like an office chair. When I first discovered Move, it was love at first sight because of the minimalistic design and all the options you have to customize it. You are free to experiment with colors to make it look great in any setting. I use my Move chair every day now and it couldn’t be a more perfect fit.

How do you incorporate movement into your daily life?

As I work from home, I think I might move more than others because nobody is watching. It’s the ultimate freedom! I always start my day by cleaning out any distractions, I need organized surroundings in order to concentrate. I often go on lunch dates or coffee breaks to get some fresh air and a change of scenery during the day. I love wandering the streets of Berlin and embarking on the occasional treasure hunt at different flea markets around the city, and when working on projects I’m always moving stuff around and redecorating.
